"A WELL MANAGED SCHOOL IS A SAFE AND EFFECTIVE SCHOOL"
In 1989, SERAPH designed and performed the first U.S. School Security Management Audit. SERAPH’s research work on school safety and child violence has been published in
- Texas Attorney Generals’ report on School Safety
- FBI Law Enforcement Bulletin, “Addressing School Violence”.
- National Criminal Justice Reference Service – U.S. Department of Justice
In 2000, SERAPH was asked to provide a report on the “STATE OF SCHOOL SAFETY IN AMERICAN SCHOOLS” to members of Congress, specifically the U.S. SENATE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
SERAPH has provided three reports to Congress between 2000 and 2008.
SERAPH has over 30,000 school clients in the U.S. and has worked in Canada, South America and Western Europe.
"Dale Yeager’s expertise in the arena of school safety and security is beyond reproach. I have observed Dale and his team working with school districts within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. His candor, integrity and direct no nonsense approach has assisted those schools/districts providing a safe and security student learning environment by significantly improving the overall safety/security of the district. His team accomplishes this through an exhaustive needs evaluation involving the entire community and local municipality agencies, taking that evaluation and developing a plan to improve the weaknesses, and then providing the professional development training and technical assistance to ensure the plan's goals are attained. SERAPH’s goal is to provide each school with the tools and knowledge to succeed in providing an safe and security learning environment for their students. I have recommended SERAPH in the past and will continue to do so in the future."
Mike Kozup, Safe Schools Supervisor; PA Department of Education
"Dale Yeager is a dynamic, knowledgeable speaker. Attendees to his presentations walk away knowing they have useful information. He challenges his listeners to think in new ways, and they respond positively to the challenge.
He has superb knowledge of school safety and its many applications. He is able to translate that knowledge to teaching situations. He would be an excellent resource for any school corporation seeking to upgrade its security, and strengthen its management practices."
Stephen Satterly, Jr., Assistant Principal; CSC Southern Hancock County
"Dale Yeager is an excellent presenter with in-depth knowledge and experience in school safety and security. He designed and teaches our school Security Officers’ training system that has implemented professional and effective techniques and standards for our School Security staff. As the CEO/President of Seraph he has assembled a team of experienced school safety experts. Members of his team have worked with our district to provide direction and insight in how to plan, implement, and manage comprehensive school safety. Dale is currently providing training and technical support and we look forward to continuing to work with him."
